Phoenician Zombies
Arizona has collapsed under the weight of a sudden, devastating outbreak. Fight through relentless hordes, upgrade your arsenal, and traverse treacherous terrain as you struggle to outrun the end of the world—if you can survive.

Phoenician Zombies is a top-down, rogue-like shooter where you traverse through various levels, upgrade your weapons, and defeat different types of enemies to progress.

The player must traverse the map, defeating enemies along the way, and upgrade their weapons using loot obtained from enemies at a merchant found on the map. Players will battle through areas inspired by Arizona’s cities, exploring room by room to locate and defeat the final boss before progressing to the next level.

As your sanity worsens and your body aches, the sole thought of a well-deserved vacation rages through and pushes you one step closer to Mexico. Will your will and determination be enough to reach the end of the outbreak and live a peaceful life?

This was a team effort with 4 other members from my CPI 111 class (Game development 1). I was responsible for the player controller, enemy controller, and the merchant controller. I also helped with the level design and the game design document. Her is the link to the game. itch.io
