Explore the deep reaches of an old sewer system in Rats and Slash, a weapon scavenging adventure hack-and-slash, as a sword-wielding raccoon. Make your way down the depths of the sewers, fighting a variety of treacherous creatures, searching for the Rat King’s throne to claim its treasure for your own.

As a natural scavenger, the raccoon picks up random objects with a particular affinity for swords, dice, and of course, treasure. Dice come in different forms and randomize the player's attack damage when held in inventory. Different swords offer different damage multipliers and radii. Sword tiers give the player more dice to hold. Between combat there are some safe zones, while the raccoon can snack on pizza to gain health mid battle. Watch out for the sewage, it may be a bit radioactive.

I was the project lead and programmer for this game. I was responsible for player machanics, weapon mechanics, inventory system, dice machanics, level design, and leading the team. Our level designer ditched us so I did most of the level design. I really did like our team, they were very good at what they did. We all had our own roles and we all did them well. We used Unity for the game engine and C# for the programming language, Audacity for the sound design, and Blender for the 3D modeling and animations.
